1 Kurumayama-kata
▪ This is a rest spot with a nice view. A bus stop, parking lot, mountain hut, restaurant and restrooms are available.
▪ This area is in the path of wind blowing from Lake Suwa. As such, fog tends to settle easily in the valley below eye level.
2 Kurumayama Wetland (high moor)
▪ A nationally designated natural monument, this high moor evolved in the valley between Kurumayama and Chocho-miyama mountains.
▪ A variety of flowers such as Rhododendron molle subsp. japonicum can be enjoyed here.
▪ The Wetland is surrounded by boardwalks while a path is provided within the spacious valley, together providing a uniquely attractive atmosphere.
3 Kurumayama-nokkoshi
▪ This is the diverging point of the footpath and the border of Suwa and Chino cities.
▪ It is dotted with rocks, such as Meoto-iwa (husband-and-wife rocks) and one that looks like the profile of a dog
4 Kurumayama-kogen SKYPARK Ski Area
▪ Mowing is carried out in the ski area.
▪ The ski area is surrounded by extensive deer-barrier fences allowing visitors to enjoy a wide variety of flowers.
Kurumayama Visitor Center
This is a rest spot at the foot of the ski area. The center provides nature information and the like. Next to the center are a parking lot, a lift station, restaurants and accommodation.
